How prices are set
Every piece is priced from what it is made of:
price = weight in grams × that day's rate per gram for the piece's karat + the piece's making charge
- We publish a rate sheet each day with a separate rate per gram for 14K, 18K, 21K and 22K gold. Rates follow the gold market, so prices change from day to day.
- The weight is the piece's own weight, shown to three decimal places on its listing. The making charge is fixed per piece.
- Prices are in Philippine pesos and include 12% VAT. Insured shipping is added at checkout, or is free above the amount shown there.
- Your price is fixed when you place the order. Each line of your order records the rate and price it was sold at, and later rate changes, up or down, do not change it.
- If today's rates have not been published yet, checkout waits until they are, so you never pay yesterday's price by accident.
If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price, for example because of a typing error in a rate, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after payment. We will tell you why.
Placing an order and holds
Most of our pieces are one of a kind. When you place an order we hold its pieces for you so no one else can buy them:
- Card, GCash or Maya: 15 minutes to complete the payment.
- Bank transfer: 24 hours to send the transfer and upload your receipt. Once the receipt is uploaded, the pieces stay held while we check it.
If the hold ends before payment is completed, the pieces are released and nothing is charged. An order is accepted, and our contract with you is made, when we confirm your payment by email.
Payment
- Cards are processed by PayMongo. Your bank will ask you to confirm the payment with 3D Secure. GCash and Maya payments are also processed by PayMongo and are subject to each wallet's limits.
- InstaPay or PESONet bank transfers go to the account shown at checkout. Your order stays pending verification until we see the full amount in our account, usually within one banking day. If we cannot match a receipt to a payment, we will tell you why and ask for a corrected one.
- An order is only marked paid once PayMongo confirms the payment or we have verified the transfer in our bank statement.
Delivery
- We ship within the Philippines with an insured, tracked courier such as LBC, J&T Express or Lalamove, and email you the courier and tracking number.
- Please check that the parcel's seal is intact before accepting it. If it looks opened or damaged, refuse it or photograph it and tell us the same day.
- If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we deal with the courier and the insurer, and send you a replacement piece of the same kind if one exists, or refund you in full.
- Responsibility for the pieces passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave.
Cancellations
You may cancel a paid order at any time before it ships by replying to your order email. We refund the full amount you paid to the same card, wallet or bank account. Once it has shipped, our returns policy applies instead.
We may cancel an order if payment is not completed within the hold, if the transfer cannot be verified, or for the pricing errors described above. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
